Don't know why even though I was on bed early last night, I couldn't really wake up this morning. Too tired I guess. I woke up 15 minutes before we left Queenstown to Wanaka. Have to brush teeth and packed quickly. Luckily it wasn't much to pack because I didn't simply throw my stuff around the room.

the sucky dorm..The double decker bed was so short for the lower bed..Have to bend your head when sitting straight. One of the rule staying here is that we need to take out the pillow case and bed sheets to reception during checkout.

and then we headed to Wanaka which is like about 1 hour drive from Queenstown

We have to stopped halfway because the route we took to Wanaka is by driving up the mountain. The road was iced and we couldn't drive up because we didn't chain the car tyre. Didn't know got such thing =X Our car got stuck and was falling but worse thing is, when we accelerate, the car is moving backwards. It was too slippery. We all went down the car and pushed while the driver accelerates again. While we are turning back, it slipped a little when the driver braked. Oh my, such a scary experience. We could have slipped off the cliff and died.

We took another route which is using the highway. It'll take more time to reach Wanaka but it's much more safer =X
Finally reached Wanaka. We are staying by the lakeside. Nice view eh :D

Everyone went for skiing except for me, boyfriend, Elsa and Candy. It was too expensive and Elsa said she skied before but she doesn't like it, while Candy is still feeling unwell because of the car sickness.

Suddenly, everyone else came back and said they are not going skiing because it was too late and they decided to go skiing tomorrow. So we are going Puzzling World now (initially we're going tomorrow)

counter to buy tickets. I took a broucher from Queenstown and there's voucher in it. It was like discount for 2 tickets. So boyfriend and I got discount :D

I find this is like wasting my time. I don't mind doing it in sunny day but I am getting soaked. AGAIN!

Yay no more raining.

Then, we went to the Illusion Rooms. I guess I enjoyed it better here because it is warm and I can take more pictures !

After having lots of fun at Puzzling World, we went to New World to get dinner while others went to rent their skiing equipment

had $10 curry at one of the indian restaurant there with the guys. Yeah all guys and I'm the only girl. The girls said they wanna eat instant noodles but I need to take a break from instant noodles.
All of us chilling out in the common room, singing, playing guitar, playing cards, laughing and chatting. Boyfriend was alone in the room because he was tired =/ It's sorta like he doesn't wanna mix around with new friends. I never met these people before but have to socialise ma =D

I'm having real fun in Wanaka. Love the place I'm staying, the view and scenary here. It's true that Wanaka is the place where you come to enjoy and relax while Queenstown is where you do adventurous activities.

Today is my last night here and we're leaving back to Dunedin tomorrow T_T
